Ranking & Ads

How listings are ranked and sponsored content is marked.

As required for marketplaces, these are the main parameters that decide the order of products, services, used listings and sellers on ACFixMart, from most to least significant:

  1. Relevance to what you searched for or the category / city you chose (title, brand, model, category).
  2. Availability — in-stock items and sellers / technicians serving your city or area rank above those that are not.
  3. Price and discount actually offered.
  4. Customer ratings and reviews (verified purchases only).
  5. Seller performance — on-time dispatch, cancellations and complaint rate.
  6. Freshness of the listing / recency of update.
  7. Paid placement — only in clearly marked slots.

Sponsored content

Any listing, banner or spotlight that a seller has paid to promote carries a visible “Sponsored” / “Ad” label. We do not change search results or indexes to mislead you relative to your query, and we do not use your data to favour a brand owned by or associated with ACFixMart without your express consent.

Price reductions

When a reduced price is announced, the prior price (lowest price of that item in the previous 30 days) is shown alongside it. MRP shown with a strike-through is the manufacturer's printed MRP.

No dark patterns

ACFixMart does not use false urgency, basket sneaking, confirm-shaming, forced action, subscription traps, interface interference, bait-and-switch, drip pricing, disguised ads, nagging, trick questions, hidden recurring billing or fake malware alerts. See the self-audit certificate.
