Rules for buying and selling pre-owned items.
ACFixMart is an intermediary
Used items are listed by individuals. ACFixMart provides the platform only and is not the seller, does not own, inspect or warrant these items, and is not a party to the sale between buyer and seller (as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT Rules, 2021).
Seller declaration (required at every listing)
- I am the lawful owner of this item and have the right to sell it.
- The item is not stolen, counterfeit, hazardous, recalled or illegal to sell.
- The description, age, condition, defects and photos are true and are of this exact item.
- I will not take advance payments outside the platform or share false documents.
Buyers
- Inspect and test the item before paying; sales are as-is, where-is unless the seller states a warranty in writing.
- Meet in a public place / use the in-app chat; do not pay advance to unknown persons.
- Ask for the original purchase bill / warranty card where available.
Prohibited items
Stolen goods, items with tampered serial numbers / IMEI, weapons, hazardous goods, items needing a licence, and anything illegal. Repair-needing items must be listed as “needs repair”.
E-waste
Items beyond repair must be handed to an authorised e-waste recycler (E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022) rather than sold as working.
Reporting
Report a suspicious listing from the Grievance page. We act on valid complaints and may remove listings and block users; we cooperate with law-enforcement requests as required by law. Listing, boost or pack fees are charged only as shown before you pay.
